Springhill Suites Bakersfield, Bakersfield

The Spring Hill Suites offered extremely spacious and comfortable rooms that were spotless and smelled great. The staff were excellent and accommodating, although there were some lapses in maintaining cleanliness in certain areas. The location was convenient, although lacking in views, it was a short drive to good restaurants. The dining experience had a good selection but could have had more variety.

The hotel is located between Vegas and San Francisco, making it convenient with other hotels, restaurants, and shops nearby. The rooms are equipped with all the normal amenities, but can feel a bit cramped for five guests utilizing two double beds and a sofa bed. The service, particularly at the Hungry Hunter Steak House, was excellent despite any staff shortages. The breakfast had a good selection of items, catering even to gluten-free needs.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and nicely set up with a cozy couch, a desk, and a mini bar area that exceeded my expectations. The service was fantastic, easy to communicate with, and the staff at the Hunter Steak House were friendly and efficient. Although the location was not central, it was perfect for breaking up my trip. The dining experience was top-notch, offering a great variety of tasty food, and the facilities were excellent overall.
